This year’s conference builds on the success of the inaugural 2007 EE Global in Washington, D.C., which drew more than 800 attendees from 33 countries. Moving to a European setting, EE Global 2009 has already secured more than 70 speakers from 19 countries, ranging from government energy and climate ministers and members of the European Parliament to executives from leading corporations, utilities, and NGOs.

At each of 24 concurrent “Executive Dialogue” sessions, these high-level speakers will address one of four energy “end-use sectors” (buildings, industry and utilities, transportation and urban planning, consumer) and a key cross-cutting issue – finance, policy, technology, or market transformation.
