Professor Dai Yande, the emeritus Director General of Energy Research Institute (ERI), National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), P.R. China, has long term research and policy planning experiences in the fields of energy economics, energy environment, energy strategy and energy conservation. He is one of the leading energy expert both domestic and abroad, and won multiple national and ministerial level Science and Technology Progress Prizes.
Professor Dai also holds other posts, including member of the Experts Consulting Committee for National Emerging Industries of Strategic Importance Development, Director General of Energy and Economic Professional Committee of China Energy Society, council member of Atmospheric Pollution Prevention of Jing Jin Ji and the surrounding areas, member of the Experts Committee for National Climate Change, council member of the Chinese People’s Institute of Foreign Affairs, member of Energy Professional Committee of Academic Committee for Chinese Academy of Sciences, member of China Pilot Free Trade Zone International Advisory Commission, member of Beijing Association for Science and Technology. He also serves as guest professor of Dalian University of Technology, Beijing Institute of Technology, China University of Mining & Technology, and the Doctoral advisor of the University of International Business and Economics.
