Elizabeth Murphy holds more than a decade of experience working on behalf of Connecticut’s ratepayer-funded clean energy programs for organizations including AVANGRID, Eversource, and Connecticut Green Bank (formerly Clean Energy Finance and Investment Authority). She holds an M.S. in Resource Economics from the University of Connecticut and B.S. in Economics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Elizabeth served as a member of AVANGRID’s Connecticut Sustainability team for four years—one of which she served as the team leader. She has dedicated her career to helping Connecticut residents and businesses save energy, improve economic health, and reduce their carbon footprint.
Currently, Elizabeth manages the Commercial and Industrial Conservation and Load Management team across AVANGRID Connecticut and Massachusetts. She holds United Illuminating’s seat on the Connecticut Energy Efficiency Board and is a Connecticut Green Building Council Board Officer.
