Alliance President Jason Hartke on the 2019 EE Global Forum By Jason Hartke
Reflecting on the past year, I can’t help but look back at the overwhelming success of our 2018 EE Global Forum in Copenhagen, which was my first as President of the Alliance. And what an exciting way to begin my tenure! I walked away from that experience energized about a host of new ideas, things that I’d learned, and opportunities to work with new partners. I am excited to continue building on that momentum by formally inviting you to join us for EE Global 2019 on June 12 in Washington, DC!
EE Global 2019 will unveil a revamped agenda that builds upon the substantive content and unparalleled networking that’s made EE Global the premiere energy efficiency event for over a decade, while introducing innovative session formats like Tech Talks – two EE visionaries giving TED-style talks followed by a moderated discussion with the audience.
I can promise June 12 will be an action-packed day that puts you, the attendee, in center of the conversation with new sessions joining our tried and true discussion-based Executive Dialogues and refreshed Breakfast Plenary and SpEED GEEking. And, while the formal program has been consolidated into one day, we will be working with respected industry partners to organize pre and post-meeting workshops, Board and committee meetings and Congressional visits – making it well worth the trip to DC!
As a reminder, EE Global is an invitation only event – you must be hand-selected by the Alliance and the EE Global Working Group as one of the EE leaders whose voice is critical to ensuring that EE Global remains an action inspiring event. I hope you’ll be part of this year’s conversation on Doubling Down Energy Efficiency. I’m thrilled to be hosting EE Global in my hometown and I look forward to seeing you in June!
