Debbie Fitzgerald is a Principal Architect and Director of the Energy Efficiency Program at CableLabs, a research and development consortium for the cable industry. CableLabs’ global membership includes over 60 of the largest cable operators worldwide representing over 180 million subscribers. Over the course of her 11 years at CableLabs, Debbie has led efforts in next-gen network architectures and platforms, interactive television, advanced advertising, and energy efficiency. She leads the technical efforts related to the set-top box and small network equipment energy efficiency voluntary agreements in the United States and Canada. Debbie has a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Kansas and a Master of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University.
